Job Summary:

The Litigation Attorney will spearhead such legal matters, which might refer to civil, commercial, or even criminal litigation, and pursue the litigation process from case evaluation to the trial and appeal. Only critical thinking, talent, and skill in the courtroom, the capacity to make a convincing argument, and the strict code of morality and professionalism are highly demanded in the job. The job will enable the candidates to work closely with the clients and senior attorneys at the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fight litigation, appraisal of the cases, registration of the cases, discovery term (that generally takes approximately a year), hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Draft and proofread legal documents, grievances, motions, briefs, and settlement deals.
• Undertake law studies to compile and create arguments with reference to litigation.
• Defend clients in courts, tribunals, and before arbitration tribunals.
• Dispute settlement and settlement.
• Provide Exceptional Communication, ensure that the clients are informed about the situation of the case, any news that may exist, and plan.
• Cooperate with other lawyers, paralegals and specialists in search of evidence and trial documents.
• Meet deadlines, filing requirements, and obligations.
• Monitor litigation legislation, rules of court procedure, and common law of litigation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB), LLM is an asset.
• 3-10 years as a litigator or in the dispute practice.
• Bar Council of registrant and qualified lawyer.
• Good oral advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Skills in good research and analysis.
• Capacity to exercise care in taking action on such cases and schedules of the various kinds.
• Very professional, truthful, and thorough.

Preferred Experience:

• Practice in a particular area of civil, commercial, business, labor, or criminal litigation.
• Knowledge of the ADR process – arbitration, mediation or conciliation.
• Legal counsel and litigation strategy experience of clients is a good ground.

Salary Range:

Based on qualifications, according to litigators and experience in advocacy.
